Support Pastor Ram Krishna - ministering in Nepal
Donation protected
Pastor Ram and his family lives in Bharatpur Nepal. He was called to ministry in 2013 and faithfully serving the Lord in his home Nepal. The Shin family met Pastor Ram while we were stationed in South Korea as Pastor Ram took a step of faith to receive scholarship program at Torch Seminary through Onnuri Church.
When he took his step of faith to come to South Korea, he was not sure of his next step after finishing his Master’s Degree. He knew his villages’ faithful offerings won’t sustain his family, yet he felt led to come to South Korea which he boldly obeyed and he pressed on strong to get his degree through covid pandemic. It was a very difficult season for him as borders closed while he was away from his family and studied alone in a foreign country South Korea, not knowing if he could continue with his ministry in the future.
God had blessed our family to get to know pastor Ram through the time in South Korea. God’s light was shining upon him and we were simply drawn to him to build relationships. As we got to know him more, we fell in love with his genuine faith in Christ, his bold obedience in full surrender, his humble heart toward God and people around him which became evident when we saw him take hardships gladly and endure over and over again, and his firm unshakable commitment to God’s Kingdom for the people of Nepal. Our family has been commit to support Pastor Ram’s family - Pastor Ram, his beautiful wife Malati, and their son Bisesh (glory of God) in 8th grade, and daughter Salomi (peace of God) in 2nd grade since then.
Back home in Nepal, pastor Ram pastors in the main campus church as well as reaches to neighboring remote villages and churches. He serves many villages around his region, reading the Scriptures to illiterate people who are mostly farmers, discipling the remote village leaders, and pray and connect with village people. Mostly dirt roads, pastor Ram rides his moped from his town to the bottom of hills before he starts 1 hour to 2 hours long hike into the mountainous remote villages.
He even takes blankets and extra grains for food in the cold winter to provide for the needs of these villages. He is truly the hands and feet of Jesus as he preaches and reaches with the Gospel message to the unreachable villages!!
Currently, the church rebuilding construction is taking place in one of the remote hillside village. The original church building (photo below) was constructed 7 yeas ago which had broken walls and floors by the end of last year. They were able to gather $8000 from the local government (PRAISE!!) and $2000 from their offerings, but it is still $10,000 short to the projected cost to rebuild the church. We believe that the solid church ground will reach and serve the people of God in the area through many ways. The construction has been taking place since January 2024 and we pray that your generous donations will help complete rebuilding of the church.
Would you join us in blessing the mission of God taking place in Nepal?
Thank you in advance for your consideration, faith in action and most importantly prayers.
