Hey Everyone! My name is Elyse Cousins and I am fortunate to be considered a friend of The Gunn Family. With their permission, I wanted to share that Pastor Trish suffered a stroke last Saturday, November 4th. While she remains the witty woman that we all know and love, Pastor Trish is facing residual issues with her vision and left-sided paralysis. While we ask that you continue to pray for complete healing, I know there are so many who have also asked, "What can I do to help?". I wanted to provide a way for you to do so, on their behalf. Pastor Trish and Derrick have not only been a huge influence in my life, but countless others as well. I've genuinely never met a family as welcoming or selfless. They have spent years dedicated to serving, loving, and investing in the lives of so many - and I'd love to allow them to focus solely on her recovery during this time. In order to fully care for Pastor Trish, Derrick has needed to take an extended leave from working. While The Gunns are notorious for being a blessing to others, they have difficulty accepting the same help. It's now our turn to bless them! All donations will be transferred directly to the named beneficiary, Derrick Gunn, to use for Pastor Trish's continued medical care and related expenses, as her long-term prognosis and care plan continue to evolve. Mia and Paul Burch are also closely working with the family, on renovations to their home, ensuring it is accessible for Pastor Trish once she is discharged.
