Support Pat & family after losing everything in Eaton Fire

Hi all - My name is Micaela (you may know me as @theefashionmix), and I'm fundraising money for my second-mom, Pat Hicks. Pat and her family (her daughter April, and young grandson Peter) lost EVERYTHING in the Eaton Fire - her house in Altadena, her car, and every single belonging. They had to get out immediately. One of the first things she said to me on the phone was how devastated she was for Peter - being the amazing grandma she is - she made sure he had an amazing Christmas...everything is gone. I hope that helps you know how selfless she is.

Pat helped to raise me and my brother for the majority of my life. She has turned into family for us, and I credit her for inspiring me to pursue so many of my dreams (particularly in fashion, she is one of the most fashionable people ever).

She is the BEST mom, grandma, and simply person. She has given her entire life to take care of so many people, and her house was her pride and joy. She is an amazing chef, and would host weddings and other amazing events there....she has been in the house forever and truly made it so special. She worked so hard to get her new car, which was only a few years old.

For once, I am hoping that I can help take care of Pat instead of her taking care of me. She deserves everything, and my heart is so broken for her and her family. Anything would help. My heart goes out to anyone involved in these fires. Any money raised will go DIRECTLY to Pat and her family.
