Support Patrick Connolly's Memorial Fund

I’m sure this will come as a shock to all, but with the courtesy and wishes of our family we have kept this quiet until now.. Well, if I’m being honest, we prayed for a better outcome at first, never giving up. So, please bear with us, but I write this for my beloved brother Patrick Connolly. Pat was brought to the hospital September 29th at Northwest Health in Portage Indiana. Admitted to the ICU. Patrick had suffered multiple mini strokes to his brain. The ICU floor there were an experienced, caring, staff that ran every test-multiple times, and gave life saving measures for Pat while in their care. They helped us thru our shock and horror of our loved one being supported by life saving machines around the clock for 2 weeks. Helped us understand the condition Patrick was in and gave us the hardest decision to make for one’s family member. Unfortunately, since the stroke affected both sides of Pat’s brain the expectancy for him to wake up and be able to function how he did before was gone. My little brother was never gonna open his eyes again or be able to speak, walk, or even live his life with us like before. Patrick’s wife, my sister in law, Courtney sat at his bedside every day and remained strong and stoic as she arranged palliative care at hospice for her 37 year old love of her life. This morning at 4:04 am central time after being in hospice for 15 days Patrick was reunited with our late mother, Patricia. We have arranged this GOFUND for Patrick for those who would like to show their love, respect, give support, and donate whatever one would like to in the remembrance of him. Patrick was taken from us all suddenly and way too soon. However, the time we did have with him here was everything. He wouldn’t want us to be sad. Patrick we love you and we will continue to show up for you. Forever and always.
