Support Patrick's Transition Journey

Hi, my name is Patrick Hobbs. I’m a 19-year-old college student and transgender man. I started testosterone hormone therapy in January of 2025. Following this, I was removed from my family’s insurance. I am currently faced with paying for labs, doctor visits, and prescription costs all out of my own pocket.

As a full-time college student, this is extremely difficult. I work a work-study job at my college; however, I am limited in the number of hours I can work due to studying full-time, and therefore am limited in the amount of money I can earn. I am in a very desperate situation, as testosterone has improved my life and mental health in ways I never thought possible and I’m not sure what I’m going to do if I lose access to it.

I am coming to this platform to request financial assistance with my transition journey. I am not depending fully on this fundraiser, and every cent of both the money I graciously receive from both this fundraiser and my job will go towards necessary transition-related expenses.
