Support Patriot Jim Geisler

On Friday, 9/18, Jim Geisler was on his way home from work, and was confronted by protesters on Hurstbourne Parkway in Louisville, KY. While at a stoplight, Jim’s car was approached by the menacing group. They gathered around his car while causing considerable damage to his car. A female protester pointed a gun at Jim—interestingly, she is a convicted felon, who’s rights to carry a firearm had been stripped from her previously (she was later pardoned by the governor, EXCEPT her right to possess a gun was NEVER reinstated). Jim’s personal safety, and the integrity of his vehicle/property were at stake. He was forced to protect himself. He raised and pointed his firearm at the group in an attempt to ward Them off.

No shots were fired. Police promptly intervened, dispersed the group, and arrested the woman carrying the gun. The police soundly determined Jim to be the victim in the situation (supported by film footage from a police helicopter, and on the ground cell phone video). Jim was left with a damaged car, and a sense of utter shock and dismay.

Unfortunately, the nightmare was not over. A radical, left-wing activist took Jim’s name, his car’s license number, and his employer’s name, and blasted them across the internet with the message “do your thing Facebook friends”. Herfollowers inundated his employer with complaints, and proliferated libel against this fine, upstanding, law abiding citizen. Jim is a professional, hard-working family man. At the time of this event, he was minding his own business, traveling home from work. While the state of Kentucky no longer requires a permit to carry a (concealed) firearm, Jim has maintained his CCDW certificate. Therefore, he has documented firearms training, and handled the entire situation with amazing reserve.

On Monday, 9/21, Jim’s employer terminated his employment under the pressure of these thugs. They simply did not want to deal with the after effects and negative publicity from this event.

To make matters worse, on the afternoon if 9/21, a local attorney who is affiliated with the protesters, revealed Jim’s street name in a live feed. This live feed is widely viewed by the protester base. Now, he is faced with the constant fear that these violent protesters will descend upon his neighbors, his family, and his property in retaliation.

Jim is losing wages. He has to retain an attorney. He is fighting to preserve his good name. Jim is concerned that this group will continue to smear his name and character. He is fearful that he will become unemployable, and will not be able to provide for his family.

We are asking for your support. Please consider donating to Jim Geisler’s GoFundMe account to help pay for daft-to-day bills and necessities, as well as to assist with legal fees.

We have to take a stand. This situation could have happened to any one of us.

Sincerely,
