Help Fund Patty's Memorial

The Western Middle School PTA is raising money for a memorial service for our friend, our co-worker, and mom Patty de Mata. Patty was the administrative assistant at WMS and mom of Sarah (11th grade at GHS) and Sophia (8th grade at WMS). Patty passed away unexpectedly on April 29th.

Patty brought positivity to WMS every day by supporting each and every parent, student, and staff member that she came in contact with. She was a wonderful colleague, friend and mother. Patty was a ray of sunshine and had a bright smile every day. She will be greatly missed by all of us.

A memorial will be scheduled at a later day (we expect later this month). The WMS PTA is the recipient of the donations collected on this GoFundMe. With the funds raised, the WMS PTA will directly pay the funeral home for the memorial/burial expenses and expenses/bills for the girls will be paid directly by the WMS PTA account.

The WMS PTA together with GPS and community resources, will manage the additional funds to ensure they directly benefit Sarah and Sophia with any immediate and long term financial needs.
