Paul Alan Bunker
12/18/1968 - 1/18/2025
Regards from his daughters - Samantha, Catrise, Amanda, and Kaylee.
It is with saddened hearts that the family of Paul Alan Bunker announce his passing. Beloved son, brother, father, papa, and friend sure to be missed by all.
Paul was born December 18th, 1968, to Richard Bunker and Trudy Stevens. He had 2 brothers; Michael (Suzie) and Darin, and a sister; Tracy (Connie). He had 4 daughters; Samantha (Wesley), Catrise (Jared), Amanda (Michael), and Kaylee (Kamron). He was blessed with a slew of grandchildren, to which he loved as much as any “Papa Paul” ever could: Cooper & Ashley, Maizee, Cambryn, and Adalynn & Kaidyn. Plus his bonus babies, Jolie & Buzz and Paisley & Charles. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Paul grew up in Wolverine, MI where he grew to love the outdoors. Surrounded by many family and friends, he could often be found hunting, camping, mushroom picking, and exploring. Throughout his life, Paul LOVED playing baseball, slow pitch softball, and golf. He loved the competition, the camaraderie, and the memories these sports brought to his life. He loved all kinds of food, though sweet treats of many kinds topped his favorites list. Paul loved learning new things and understanding how they worked to be able to use the information later.
Paul's hunting accident in October 2006 changed his entire family's lives. He used this experience to help start the North Country Sportsman’s Club to get youth and the 'handi-capable' hunters back into the woods. One of his lasting memories will be the connections he helped form and the teaching and building up of other people.
Paul was preceded in death by both of his parents, Richard “Bunk” & Trudy, his brother Darin, his sister-in-law Suzie, and lastly, his twin Evans’ grandbabies.
Paul’s wish is to hold a celebration of life at the park in Wolverine when the weather is nice. Plans for this event will be released at a later date.
