Support Paul Sobieski's Kidney Transplant Journey

My name is Paul Sobieski and I am currently traveling to the Trinity Health Kidney Transplant Center in Grand Rapids, MI. I am in the process of being treated to potentially have a kidney transplant. My wife, Gale Sobieski, has been travelling with me and my children have all taken to time to help me navigate to ongoing appointments.

In 2018 I had one kidney removed due to cancer and in 2021 my remaining kidney shut down completely. I have been travelling back and forth from Manistique, MI to Escanaba, MI three times a week for dialysis treatment since my kidney failed.

This medical journey has been physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting. I am creating this fundraiser to try to offset the costs of travel expenses, lodging, cost of meals, cost of medications, and other medical bills.

Following a kidney transplant, I would remain in Grand Rapids for a short period and will have to take daily anti-rejection medications to make the transplant successful. A donation of any amount would make a difference as I continue on this medical path.
