Support Paul's Fight Against Liposarcoma Cancer

To our friends and family,

My name is Bri, and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of my father and mother, Paul & Terri Pelly. Recently, our family received devastating news – my father has been diagnosed with a rare cancer called liposarcoma. This aggressive form of cancer has thrown our lives into turmoil, leaving us grappling with uncertainty and mounting medical expenses.

For those of you who know my dad, you would agree he is a hardworking man who has always put his family first. However, this diagnosis has forced him to put his career on hold as he focuses on his health. With each passing day, the financial strain of medical bills, day-to-day expenses, and the looming uncertainty of when he'll be able to return to work weighs heavily on our family.

We've been fortunate to have the support of a local Oncologist here in Bend, as well as at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), where Paul will be scheduled in the immediate future to undergo surgery under the care of specialists in sarcomas. However, the road ahead is daunting, and we need your help to ensure that Paul can focus on his recovery without the added burden of financial stress.

Your generous contribution will go directly towards covering Paul's medical bills including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, medications, and follow-up appointments. Additionally, expenses such as transportation from Bend and Portland, home care, and day-to-day expenses like housing, utilities, groceries and other bills will all be in grave need of assistance. Every dollar makes a difference and brings us closer to providing my father with the support he needs to overcome this battle.
