Support Paxton's Fight Against Leukemia

Donation protected
As many of you know, Justin and Holley have 3 very active little boys and a 5-month-old baby girl. They live a busy life, as you can imagine, with four children 8 years old and under. Their world changed suddenly this week when their sweet 3-year-old son, Paxton, was just not feeling well. Returning from a family camping trip, on Monday, June 10th, it became evident that they needed to take him to the ER. After several tests were run, Justin and Holley were advised to take him to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Paxton was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). This is a pretty common cancer for his age, but obviously news that no parent wants to hear. Thankfully, this type of cancer has a high cure rate.

So far, Paxton has received a lumbar puncture with a dose of chemotherapy into his spinal fluid, a bone marrow biopsy, two blood transfusions, and implanted a central line in his chest that will be used to administer his chemotherapy treatments over the next 2 years. Paxton will remain at Phoenix Children’s Hospital for the next 8 days while his chemo treatments get started and he undergoes a few more lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies.

While reeling from this unexpected news, Justin and Holley haven’t left Paxton’s side, and have had help from family to care for their other 3 children. In the midst of all this, they have both stepped away from their jobs to be there for Paxton. While they would never ever ask for help, this is a time in their lives when they need their village. We want to make sure they are able to cover the very costly expense that this regimen requires and pay their bills without money being one more thing to worry about.

This is going to be a long journey for Paxton and their family and they’d appreciate your prayers for healing, peace and comfort. Thank you for surrounding them with your love and support!
