Support Pedro's Heart Condition Recovery

My name is Wendy, and I am reaching out to ask for your support for my uncle Pedro and our family during this challenging time.

On September 14, my uncle was having a difficult time breathing. He stopped breathing and lost consciousness. He was rushed to the hospital and after many tests and scans, he was diagnosed with a heart condition. We were blindsided by this diagnosis.

My uncle has a long road ahead of him. He will need to be referred to a cardiologist and start several treatments. Unfortunately, due to him being uninsured, everything will be paid out of pocket. The doctors are recommending he start taking Elquis as soon as possible. It is the most efficient medication, but the cost is about $800 a month.
