Support Peggy Leahy

Hi everyone,

My name is Darragh, and along with my friend AJ, we are taking on the challenge of running an Ultra Marathon on the 10th of August 2024. We will be covering a grueling 50km distance with a total elevation gain of 3210 meters. We are doing this to raise funds for Peggy Leahy, the brave daughter of Niamh & Seamie Leahy.

Peggy has been diagnosed with a rare immunodeficiency and is facing a tough road ahead, including undergoing chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. This critical treatment will take place in Newcastle, meaning the Leahy family will need to relocate there for up to six months.

Seamie has been a lifelong friend and teammate at Boherlahan Dualla GAA, and we have shared countless moments on and off the hurling field. Now, we want to support him and his family in this challenging time.

The funds raised will go towards Peggy's medical treatment and help cover the relocation costs for the family as they support Peggy through her treatment in Newcastle.
