Support Perry Messina's Brain Cancer Recovery

My name is Tiffany Ocampo and I am the daughter of Perry Messina.

Three weeks ago my dad was diagnosed with a level 4 glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. He had surgery 2 weeks ago in Billings, Montana and they successfully removed the tumor.

His recovery has been complicated and long. He is currently in the ICU in Billings at St. Vincent Hospital. We aren't sure how much longer he will need to be in Billings before he can come home. He needs several weeks in an intensive rehabilitation facility to regain strength on the right side of his body and regain his ability to speak. Before he goes to rehab he needs to be discharged from the ICU to the neuro psych part of the hospital before being completely discharged to rehab. He could be in the hospital for a couple more weeks.

The extended stay has been a difficult surprise and hotels, gas, and food add up quickly. We are asking for support with these travel expenses.

Anyone who knows my dad knows that he would do anything to help someone else. He is the heart and soul of our family. He is a beloved grandfather, husband, brother, and son. We are profoundly grateful for the support, love, and prayers we have already received from friends and family amidst meals, phone calls, and lots of tears shared through this very devastating time.
