I'm starting this crowdfunding campaign as I start a life-changing journey at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. I’m among the first few Egyptian musicians to be accepted into this prestigious institution. Not only that but I have also been awarded a merit-based scholarship that covers around 50% of the tuition fees. This is a great privilege, as only 10% of Berklee applicants receive more than a 40% merit-based scholarship.

Remarkable Musical Journey:

As a passionate musician and accomplished music producer, I have had the privilege of collaborating with renowned artists and musicians, honing my craft and expanding my musical horizons. In my role as the Music Director of one of the country's premier school music programs, I have improved my leadership skills, guiding and nurturing the talents of younger musicians. Furthermore, my dedication to musical excellence is evidenced by my certificates from ABRSM London in music theory and piano performance.

Challenges and Opportunities:

Despite these exceptional accomplishments and the merit-based scholarship I have received, there are still significant financial challenges that need to be overcome. The cost of attendance for Berklee, even after the scholarship coverage, amounts to more than ten years' worth of the average salary in Egypt. The financial situation in Egypt, being a developing country, presents a major hurdle, exacerbated by the recent financial crisis, making it nearly impossible for the average family to afford the fees of a prestigious institution like Berklee College of Music.

My determination to pursue my passion for music and receive a world-class education at Berklee is hindered by the financial constraints imposed by the economic challenges in Egypt. This crowdfunding campaign serves as an opportunity that can allow me to pursue this dream, bridging the gap between my talent and the financial resources required for my education.

By contributing to this campaign, you will directly support my education, enabling me to concentrate on my studies, further develop my talent, and proudly represent Egypt's vibrant music scene on an international stage. The total cost for his first year, including housing, books, and student insurance, amounts to $76,000, and the scholarship I have received will cover $23,000 of this amount. Our starting goal is to raise $15,000, which will help cover a substantial portion of my education expenses.
