Support Phil and Ken: Fire Recovery

My name is Mary and my beloved friends, Phil Johnston and Ken Cortland, have tragically lost everything in the Altadena fire. They originally opted not to create a GoFundMe because so many others needed support, however the severity of their situation is sinking in. Phil and Ken need our help now. All funds raised will go their immediate needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and pet care for their amazing dog Roxy. This will serve as the bridge for their general recovery and to assist with the many significant and unexpected costs that are not covered by other limited sources of aid.

Phil is a professional, self-employed artist and designer. His backyard work studio with all his supplies and art was destroyed. Ken is currently in treatment for pancreatic cancer, which requires all his grit and stamina. Phil is his dedicated caregiver.

Phil has been my friend for 23 years and he is one of the most loving, warm spirits I know, who can make anyone laugh. Ken is equally kind and warm hearted. Both have been known to be the life of the party. Let's rally around them now to show our love. Any amount you are able to give will be meaningful and helpful.
