Support Phoenix's Emergency Vet Care

Hi everyone. My name is Jess and this little red guy is Phoenix, my mom and stepdad's husky. He's had a rough week and is finally starting to recover after suffering from 4 seizures in two days. Phoenix had to be taken to the emergency vet for immediate help following the seizures and needed to stay overnight. After being treated, he made it through the night seizure-free and is on the road to recovery. Phoenix is now taking medication to help with the seizures, and he's doing much better.

I'm creating this GoFundMe for my mom and stepdad because they cannot afford the unexpected vet bill. Phoenix will also need a follow-up appointment to take blood in a couple of weeks that we are expecting to be a couple hundred dollars. My mom and stepdad are disabled and live off of a fixed income every month. They have no savings and are living paycheck to paycheck, so this was a hard hit to them financially, and they don't know how they will pay it off. Thankfully, the medication Phoenix will need to take from now on will be affordable, but they need help with the initial vet bill.
