Support Pickles' ICU Recovery

Hi there friends, near and far. My sweet 13 year-old border collie, Pickles, had to be rushed to the emergency vet after a series of collapses and labored breathing. She was admitted to the ICU at DoveLewis Animal Hospital in downtown Portland where a series of very expensive tests had to be started in order to find a diagnosis. She is currently still in the ICU on oxygen as we wait for her labs to come back. She is suspected to have severe pneumonia as all other tests and bloodwork were inconclusive. Xrays of her chest showed moisture in her lungs and the difficulty she is having breathing points to this- but we are waiting on a lab culture to confirm. We’ve already accumulated a staggering medical bill nearing the $8,000 mark. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated in tackling these bills and ensuring Pickles continues to get the care she needs. Her 14th birthday is on February 5th and we would love nothing more than for our sweet girl to make it home for that.
