New Pope Gymnasium Signage!

A few months ago I created a petition to show support for naming the Northside Gymnasium in honor of Coach William Pope.  That petition generated over 2,000 signatures of support in a matter of days!  I then presented that petition to the Roanoke County School Board and they voted in favor of the proposal.  The signage will be both outside and inside the gymnasium and will cost around $9,000.  I will start this off by donating the first $500 and encourage everyone whose life has been impacted, both academically and athletically, by this wonderful example and educational role model!  Please consider both sharing and supporting to make this a legacy for Coach Pope; this is well deserved as this man, who for the past thirty-plus years, has faithfully served the Roanoke County School System at Northside High School!
