Support Portland Cottage After Storm Beryl
Donation protected
The community of Portland Cottage, the southern most point (outlined in red) on the island of Jamaica was recently devasted by a category 4 storm Beryl.

Trees and vegetation were uprooted, livestock drowned, homes destroyed, and the vast majority of people who are self employed had their livelihoods interrupted.

We are seeking funds to aid as many families as possible by by purchasing food, water, zinc to repair damaged roofs , mattresses, sheets, hygiene product, clothing, small cash grants no more than $100 US and other basic needs.

My family is from Portland Cottage and I have family who continue to reside there. I attended Portland Cottage School when Mr Grant was the Principal and Ms Patrick taught first grade.
I've raised funds in the past to build a community sign and to fund WiFi access for the Community Center and Portland Cottage Primary School for several years.

Beryl has proved that so much in this life is a matter of chance. This community which is not a stranger to storms was ravaged by Beryl and there is a dire need for support.
We will offer a detailed accounting accompanied with receipts of where all funds are allocated and distributed.
Thank you in advance for your assistance
