Support Presley & Sofi's Ocean Rescue: Plan PureSeas

Hello,

Our names are Presley Sherrick and Sofi Karterakis and we are high school juniors at Braintree High School. We both love the ocean and are extremely passionate about the environment. After a day at the beach, we noticed so much trash and debris scattered along the beach that we decided that it was important to try and establish a program to clean the beaches and the aquatic environment. We plan on lobbying with state and local officials to pass laws about pollution and supply funding for ocean and beach cleanups. In order to do so, we determined that we would require funding. Additionally, we are looking for help from the public to help with the supply of ocean and beach cleanups. All the funds will be given to the Ocean Conservancy that helps to find solutions long term for ocean pollution, sea life, etc. Thank you!
