“Working Together Today For A Better Tomorrow”
We have an Urgent Appeal to all our friends and supporters, as well as our current and past members of Project Future Community Center.
Most know that Project Future is a non-profit organization that has dedicated itself to the betterment of our community. As we approach our Fall 2022 season, we find ourselves faced with a Financial Challenge of $25,000+. This is due to desperately needed repairs for our property to continue to serve and bless the WNY Community. Some areas of need include Parking Lot repairs and repaving, exterior building block repairs and painting, interior work, and major roof repairs. A new roof could cost over $100,000 and is a great need.
Any funds received that exceed the immediate needs will be used for further roof repairs, new equipment that is much needed, and funding for youth scholarships. If possible, we are asking all the wonderful people who have been a big part of the Project Future Center since 1990 and the multitudes who have been a part of all our Community Programs to consider helping us to raise these necessary funds by the end of November 2022.
On behalf of our Founder, Rev. Robert Heisner, "let’s be a part of the solution, rather than complain about the problem!" Grand Master Heisner (9th Dan in Bushido Kai martial arts) is a pillar of strength in our community and has always put others before himself. Over the years, he has supported his community through many different youth programs designed to develop anti-bullying mindsets, along with personal responsibility and leadership qualities.
Here are just a few of the programs he has worked with and/or developed:
1. The Advantage after school program
2. The PRISM program (Personal Responsibility Is Success in Motion)
3. Town of Tonawanda Youth Bureau and Tonawanda Boys & Girls Club programs
4. City of Buffalo Alternative School program
5. Niagara County Juvenile Probation program and appointed to its task force
He also worked with the WNY Law Enforcement, was an instructor at NCCC, worked with Kingdom Bound, and spoke at many civic organizations like the Rotary Club, Kiwanis, Lions Club, and Veterans Associations regarding at-risk youth.
Our Youth Martial Arts and Community Service Programs help equip today's youth to become tomorrow’s leaders! We will continue to instill traditional values, self-discipline, and patriotism to ensure the greatness of America. We will also continue working together to change those things that need to be changed or improved upon.
We hope you will stand with us and pass the word to others, allowing us to continue our successful, proven outreach to our youth and community.
