Now there is TakeCHARGE: 5 Steps to Safer Health Care, a program of Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy.

The TakeCHARGE Campaign is a public awareness initiative aimed at enhancing patient safety by empowering individuals to actively engage in their healthcare and prepare before entering the healthcare system. By following the 5 Steps to Safer Health Care, people can become informed participants in their healthcare team.

Funding through this GoFundMe will assist in reaching communities by training people to be “TakeCHARGE Ambassadors” and facilitate programs in person and virtually.

TakeCHARGE in your community kicks off in March during Patient Safety Awareness Week, and the outreach continues throughout the year with educational materials, presentations, and programs provided by Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education & Advocacy.

To develop materials, train the TakeCHARGE Ambassadors and keep our resources available at no charge to the community, we need your support. Whether it's $10, $100 or more, every bit helps! Don’t be left out! Pulse has been a community-based organization for over 25 years, and we build our programs to be sure you and your family are ready to help in getting the best health care outcomes!!
