Support Quintin's Journey with ALS Today

As many of you know, our good friend Quintin Allen (LuHi class of '81) is battling ALS, and as you can imagine, medical bills will build up quickly with such a prolonged and degenerative disease. Q has always been a great friend to all of us, whether interjecting his comical remarks, sharing his depth of musical knowledge, or most importantly, sharing stories about his family.

ALS currently has no cure, and our goal is to help Q and his family any way we can. He is a tough fighter, and he's giving it a good fight, but sometimes that isn't enough. In the next months and weeks, Q and his family will be facing rising costs to cover physical therapy, family counseling, and needed assistance with daily care, possibly leading to hospice care, not to mention the daily medical equipment needed to keep Q stabilized.

If you have known Q for a short time, served with him in the Navy, or have been a lifelong friend, you know how blessed we all are to have someone like Q in our life. Even though our life paths may have gone different directions and we have gone years without seeing each other, once you do, it's like no time ever passed. Q's laugh, wit, and friendship make everyone feel good just to be around him.

We are asking that you make a donation to Q's fund so we can help to provide some comfort to him and his family, as well as help with mounting medical bills.
