Support Radio Ciudadana

The International Citizen Platform has a radio: "The citizen" that needs to be equipped to cover the realities in this context of citizen protest for democratization and public liberties in Nicaragua.
It is currently an emerging project that works with fewer resources thanks to its collaborators, but to take it to an influential project in the public opinion requires financial support.
In the context of Nicaragua, there are few means at the service of citizenship. The vast majority are in the hands of the government and its partners. In addition to a state policy of "uncontaminated communication" that harms the freedom of the press, violating the law of access to public information, creating an information channel that only digital media and social networks, plus citizen mobilization we have been able to break. In Nicaragua there is a duopoly that prevents citizen participation, freedom of expression and freedom of the press. The population that wants to express itself freely does not have an option. Journalists who want to report on public policies or interview a public servant can not do it. They are allowed to provide public information to the independent press. We want to be that option and create an entire communication strategy to achieve it. We have the experience we do not have the resources.
