support Rajeen: a Palestinian dabke team

Hello to everyone, i'm Eliss and i'm an italian student from Bergamo. I am raising funds for the Palestinian dance team Rajeen because I firmly believe that talent, passion and art can make a difference even in the most difficult contexts.

Rajeen is not just a dance group, but a symbol of resistance, identity and hope.

The story of the team: in the heart of Khan Younis, in the Gaza Strip, a no-profit dance group of extraordinary kids gave life to the Rajeen team on November 2, 2023. This group was born from the courage and determination of displaced people from the north of the Gaza Strip.

The team consists of 15 young dancers, aged between 9 and 16, led by their dedicated leader, Khaled Fathe Shaheda Abu Khater, who is 28 years old.

The girls on the team have been deeply affected by the war, facing significant psychological trauma. As a result, they require continuous entertainment and psychological support in their daily lives.

Their dream? Enhance Palestinian culture through dabke, a traditional dance, and find hope and dignity in a moment of extreme difficulty.

Ciao a tutti, sono Alice e sono una studentessa italiana di Bergamo. Sto raccogliendo fondi per la squadra di ballo palestinese Rajeen perché credo fermamente che talento, passione e arte possano fare la differenza anche nei contesti più difficili.

Rajeen non è solo un gruppo di ballo, ma un simbolo di resistenza, identità e speranza.

La storia del team: nel cuore di Khan Younis, nella Striscia di Gaza, un gruppo di ballo no-profit di ragazzi straordinari ha dato vita il 2 novembre 2023 al Rajeen team. Questo gruppo nasce dal coraggio e dalla determinazione di sfollati persone provenienti dal nord della Striscia di Gaza.

La squadra è composta da 15 giovani ballerini, di età compresa tra 9 e 16 anni, guidati dal loro leader dedicato, Khaled Fathe Shaheda Abu Khater, che ha 28 anni.

Le ragazze della squadra sono state profondamente colpite dalla guerra, affrontando un significativo trauma psicologico. Di conseguenza, necessitano di intrattenimento continuo e supporto psicologico nella loro vita quotidiana.

Il loro sogno? Celebrare e preservare la cultura palestinese attraverso la dabke, una danza tradizionale, e trovare speranza e dignità in un momento di estrema difficoltà.I fondi raccolti verranno utilizzati per fornire al team le risorse essenziali per sostenere il proprio lavoro e garantire il proprio futuro.

قصة الفريق: في قلب خان يونس، في قطاع غزة، أسس فريق رقص غير ربحي مكون من شباب رائعين فرقة رجعين في 2 نوفمبر 2023. تأسس هذا الفريق بفضل شجاعة وإصرار النازحين من شمال قطاع غزة.

يتألف الفريق من 15 راقصاً شاباً، تتراوح أعمارهم بين 9 و16 عاماً، بقيادة قائدهم المخلص خالد فتح شحادة أبو خاطر، البالغ من العمر 28 عاماً.

تعرضت الفتيات في الفريق لتأثيرات نفسية عميقة بسبب الحرب، مما جعلهن يحتجن إلى ترفيه مستمر ودعم نفسي في حياتهن اليومية.

حلمهم؟ تعزيز الثقافة الفلسطينية من خلال رقصة الدبكة التقليدية، واستعادة الأمل والكرامة في وقت مليء بالتحديات الصعبة.
