Support Rajiv Narayan's Family

Donation protected
This Go Fund Me campaign is in memory of our beloved brother, friend, advisor, mentor, and colleague, Rajiv Narayan.

As some may already know, Rajiv Narayan passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of October 29th at the young age of 49. He is survived by his wife, Deepali, and 12-year-old son, Anjaneya.

Rajiv grew up in Pune, India. He studied at Karnatak High School, Pune, Fergusson College, Pune, and completed his engineering at College of Engineering Pune (COEP). Despite his humble beginnings and middle-class background, he self-funded his immigration to the US to study Masters in Computer Science at Chico State University, California. He helped many friends follow his footsteps to Chico State by either promoting their candidacy or, at times, paying for their initial tuition until they found their footing in the US. He went on to be a key technology contributor at several top-notch companies such as AMD, Visa, NetApp, and Kaiser Permanente. Rajiv’s life exemplifies the life lesson that the sky is the limit when one is determined and passionate about achieving one’s goals, no matter the size of obstacles, while never forgetting one’s human values. Rajiv’s loving family lives in Santa Clara, California.

Rajiv was popular for the spiritual guidance he so generously shared. He was the kindest, gentlest soul who loved his family and country, and always strived to do good for humanity through cultural awareness and charitable endeavors. A true son of the soil, everyone who came across Rajiv was impressed with his unabashed love for India and all things Indian. Rajiv wore his heart on his sleeve and always stepped up to help those in need. One could always count on his being the first helping hand, whether it was for physical or emotional support. He touched many lives and his legacy lives on through us.

Please join us in supporting this family in their saddest hour. The primary use of the funds will be to help pay for Anjaneya’s college education. Please help the Narayan family generously.
