My niece Chanel Kenton set this up for me Here is an update:
Thank you all for your incredible support thus far! It means the world to me.
As you may or may not know on September 9th, I was in a motorcycle crash, I was riding my classic 1968 Harley chopper on my way to Joshua tree with the boys; then all of a sudden my brakes failed, going down an off ramp leading to a devastating crash into a cement divider. This accident left me with a serious leg injury that required immediate surgery. where I was air lifted to the hospital, it’s been on a challenging journey since.
I spent a grueling month at Loma Linda hospital, enduring surgery after surgery, all in a desperate attempt to save my leg. I was there for a month then I was transferred to a hospital in Culver City, where I now undergo intense in-house rehabilitation. There's still other surgeries looming, one that will remove the brace held in place by pins screwed into my leg bone. More surgeries might follow, but the uncertainty is a heavy burden.
I endured another week in a hospital bed, but found out I could do in home treatments such as wound care, physical therapy, and rehabilitation, while awaiting my next round of surgeries in a month. I took that opportunity, and got the F outta there. I’m staying at a friends place in Altadena. I won't be able to bear weight for 3+ months, and won't be walking for a year, they say. As an independent hairdresser, this has left me unable to work.
Your support is helping me get back on my feet—literally. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for me during this challenging time. Your donations are helping with bills/ hospital bills, food and other necessities thank you all!
