Support Ray and Radha After the Altadena Fire

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am Assal Habibi, a faculty member at USC and part of the Hearing and Communication Neuroscience Program as well as the Center for Music, Brain, and Society. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share that our dear friends, Ray Goldsworthy and Radha Kalluri, have lost their home in the devastating Altadena fire. While we are deeply grateful that they and their children are safe, their home and all their belongings have been completely destroyed.

Ray and Radha are cherished members of our community who have always been there to support others in times of need. Now, it is our turn to rally around them as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Starting from scratch to rebuild their lives will be a daunting challenge, and we are asking for your help to give them a head start during this difficult time.

The funds raised will go directly to Ray and Radha to assist with their immediate needs, including housing, clothing, and other essentials. I am simply helping to coordinate this effort and ensure that all contributions go to them. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and remind them that they are not alone in this journey.
