Support Recovery After August 26th Accident

Hello family and friends. This is not something I normally do and would not do unless it was an emergency situation. On August 26th, 2024, I fell down a set of 7 steps, busted my lip, and broke my wrist, and have bruises everywhere. I was transported to VCU Medical ER because it was the closest trauma center as I lost consciousness.

It started that I would be out of work until the 9th of September. Today, I went to the orthopedic and unfortunately, my wrist was broken more than VCU first said. I will be out of work until at least the middle of October. As most of you all know, I live paycheck to paycheck. These hospital bills are going to come in, plus the bills I already have. Once I get my short-term disability, that is only 60% of my paycheck. I will also still have to pay for medication and groceries.
