Support Recovery and Rehab After Amputation

Donation protected
I wouldn't normally reach out in a fundraiser like this but I don't know what more I can do.
Memorial Day weekend, I was admitted to the hospital with an infected blister. It started small and was infected into the bone within 5 days. After spending two weeks in the hospital, they let me go home with a 24-hour IV antibiotic pump and a wound vac from my ankle. After 6 weeks total of the 24-hour antibiotic on the pump, I was finally done, and I thought I was on the mend.

1 week later, my foot was reinfected, and I was back in the hospital for 2 and 1/2 weeks this time. The hospital discharged me on August 1st, and my brand new job that I just got let me go on the 2nd. So now I'm fighting a reinfected foot and wondering how I'm going to make ends meet.

Now, one week later, my foot is reinfected, and now I'm back in the hospital. We've made the choice to have a below-the-knee amputation. Bottom line is my foot was trying to kill me.

So this is where we're at: I have physical therapy rehab, I have to be fitted for a prosthetic, and find a wheelchair and a job of some kind. Sons raised here who go to cover medical bills and adjustments to the home.
