Support Regency Gardens Fight for Home

Hello everyone! The residents of Regency Gardens Condominiums are launching this GoFundMe campaign with a simple but urgent goal: to ensure that every member of our community can keep their roof over their heads. Any funds received will cover our attorney fees and any other applicable costs we will incur during this fight for our community.

On April 23rd, 2024, the owners at Regency Gardens Condominiums received a letter that stated that there would be a Board of Directors meeting on May 15th, 2024, to vote on a Special Assessment fee and increased monthly HOA dues for the year. The Special Assessment fees would range from $11,148.42 to $22,104.69 depending on the size of the owner's unit. Fifty percent (50%) of this amount would be due on June 30th, 2024, and the other fifty percent (50%) would be due on July 31st, 2024. In addition to this, the monthly HOA dues would increase between $1,486.48 to $2,590.08 depending on the size of the owner’s unit effective June 1st, 2024. There are members on our current Board of Directors who were elected by vacancy and the owner’s were not notified of when that occurred. This has caused us to begin to vote to recall the current board and replace them with actual residents that live within our community. One of the members on the Board of Directors has ties to a company that is currently buying individual units within the community.
