Support Regenerating Asheville's Vision

Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Allies,
We are the Core Stewards of Regenerating Asheville, a movement born from the heart of our community’s immense challenges and incredible opportunities created by Hurricane Helene. Over the past few months, we’ve been catalyzing a framework for more resiliency, equity, and thriving in the greater Asheville bioregion.
This movement isn’t just about recovery; it’s about regeneration. It’s about weaving together the extraordinary grassroots initiatives that were already here and those that have sprung up since the storm—many operating in silos—to create a cohesive, sustainable ecosystem. And it’s about attracting and directing funding to these high-priority, high-impact projects so they can make the impact they are uniquely designed to make.
We’re aligning these efforts with nature’s principles, indigenous wisdom, and a participatory governance model to ensure every sector of our community, from farmers to small businesses, has a voice and a stake in our collective future.
Our Vision
This is a whole-systems, bioregional approach to recovery and regeneration, creating a model that goes beyond survival to thriving. By integrating traditionally marginalized voices, local businesses, and community organizations, we are establishing:
- a bioregional hub to serve as a central space for connection, collaboration, and action.
- a nonprofit corporation and trust to receive funding and ensure transparent, impactful financial stewardship.
- a documentary film to share our story and inspire similar movements worldwide.
Through synchronicity and shared purpose, our journey has already connected us to like-minded organizations and amazing opportunities.
Globally, we are working with leading organizations in the regenerative world, including the BioFi Project, the Design School for Regenerating Earth, and the Buckminster Fuller Institute to implement a world-class framework here locally.
The Mojo Foundation, our fiscal sponsor, is a 501(c)(3) public charity, allowing us to receive donations and channel them directly into impactful work.
Why We Need Your Support
This movement has already gained incredible momentum, but to truly launch it at the scale and speed our region now requires, we need funding for this foundational phase. Your contributions will directly support:
Resourcing our Core Team: We’ve been working for months probono while facing our own financial hardships caused by the storm. This support will enable us to focus fully on catalyzing and organizing efficiently and effectively.
Operational Costs: Ensuring we have the tools, materials, and infrastructure to bring this vision to life.
Community Engagement: Amplifying voices across the greater Asheville bioregion and ensuring all sectors are included in this whole-systems framework.
Join Us in Building a Thriving Asheville
This is your opportunity to be part of a transformative movement. By contributing, sharing, or simply spreading the word, you’re helping turn this vision into reality—not just for Asheville, but as a blueprint for communities worldwide.
We invite you to watch our video and review our presentation slides attached below to learn more about this work and the regenerative framework we’re building together.
