Support Reina Castrejon & Marco Rodriguez

On Sunday, June 26th, at approximately 12:30 am, tragedy fell upon the Castrejon family. While fast asleep, a fire broke out in the home that would claim the lives of all four children: my nephew Ángel Rodríguez (11), and his 3 little brothers Jayden Cruz (7), Aiden Cruz (5), and Axel Cruz (4). Reina did everything possible to save her children, but the smoke inhalation proved too much for them.  Over the course of 48 hours, while she was in the hospital recovering from burns and smoke inhalation, her four boys would slowly succumb to the fatal effects of excessive cerebral damage.

 

Reina and her 18-year-old daughter Crystal are now left to pick up the pieces and rebuild their lives together. With their home destroyed and the unbearable pain of losing their family, we are trying to raise funds to help with their funeral expenses and overall recovery.

 

We are asking family, friends, and the community for financial support in helping this family heal from their loss. Please consider donating, knowing that any amount you can spare will significantly impact their shattered lives right now.

El domingo 26 de junio, aproximadamente a las 12:30 de la mañana, la tragedia cayó sobre la familia Castrejón. Mientras dormían, se produjo un incendio en la casa que se cobraría la vida de los cuatro niños: mi sobrino Ángel Rodríguez (11), y sus 3 hermanitos Jayden Cruz (7), Aiden Cruz (5) y Axel Cruz (4). Reina hizo todo lo posible por salvar a sus hijos, pero la inhalación de humo fue demasiado para los niños. En el transcurso de 48 horas, mientras ella estaba en el hospital recuperándose de las quemaduras y la inhalación de humo, sus cuatro hijos sucumbirían lentamente a los efectos fatales del daño cerebral excesivo.

 

A Reina y a su hija Crystal, de 18 años, les toca ahora recoger los pedazos y reconstruir sus vidas juntas. Con su casa destruida y el dolor insoportable de perder a su familia, estamos intentando recaudar fondos para ayudar con los gastos del funeral y la recuperación general.
