Support and Relief for Navis Hills long road to healing.
Donation protected
As many of you may know by now, my mother, Navis Hill, was hit by a vehicle last week while removing her makeup kit from her trunk for a job she was starting for the day. As a result of the accident, she was pinned between her car and another, shattering her leg and severing an artery in her leg. She had internal bleeding and emergency surgery to remove a vein from the opposite leg, transferred to repair the severed vein, for necessary blood flow, to save the shattered leg. So far, the surgery has been successful but is still being monitored. The medical teams are currently doing everything they can to reduce the chance of amputation. She has already been through many surgeries in the last week. She will need surgery to insert plates in the knee and leg to start rebuilding. We don’t know how many will be needed, as this is being addressed, monitored, and treated day by day. She is still in the process of trauma care, but we are all hopeful for healing and recovery.
The injuries sustained will be a long road to recovery through vigilant medical care and rehabilitation. It is still not known what level of long-term care or health conditions she will face. She will not be able to work for an unforeseen amount of time, and as the sole provider for her children and family, this brings very serious challenges. Any helping hands, meal trains, or donations will go directly to my mother’s physical health needs, transportation to doctor’s appointments, groceries, bills, child care, and anything that may arise in circumstances as challenging as this.
She is a strong, resilient, and determined woman who selflessly takes care of anyone and everyone. This is a moment where she really needs prayer warriors and support to get through this difficult road ahead. Any donation or helping hands that would like to assist outside of GoFundMe, please contact Sivan or Navis directly for arrangements. No act of kindness is too big or small and is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance to all of those who have shown up to surround Navis with love and rallied around her to support her. It’s this type of love that gives a person a sense of peace during moments like these and encourages the spirit.
Thank you each again, and I will be giving updates as time and circumstances allow. Thank you for your patience and understanding at this time, as I am doing my best to inform everyone while being a support to my mother’s needs. Please see the Facebook link below dedicated to my mother for updates along this journey.
