Support Remi's Journey

I'm starting this GoFundMe me page to help my neighbour friends, Ashley and Clayton. Their sweet little 6 year old son, Remi, suffers from a severe life threatening epilepsy. He has 'myoclonic and tonic-clonic seizures'. His diagnosis came at 8 months old, and since then he has been prescribed many medications to try and control his seizures. He's been getting between 30 and 50 seizures per day and in/out of the emergency room the past 4 weeks. The medications Remi has been on have not been working well and the severity and length of the seizures have gotten worse, which is extremely devastating to watch him go through. He will, once again, be admitted to B. C. Children's Hospital on June 10th for more tests and monitoring to try and determine what the next course of treatment will be. Both Mom Ashley and Father, Clayton would like to be there to support Remi and eachother during this difficult time. This, unfortunately, will come as a financial strain because the doctors have prescribed Remi with a CBD oil that's not covered. Additionally, the time off work creates more financial burden on the family. I am hoping to raise money so they have one less thing to have to worry about during this stressful time.
