Support Remi’s Open Heart Surgery In Melbourne

We are raising funds for our (almost) 3 month old son Remi, who in a few short weeks will be having open heart surgery to fix his VSD (Large hole in his heart) & ToF (Tetrology of Fallot). Over the past 5 months we have spent a considerable time in hospital (prenatal complications, special care nursery and specialist appointments) for our son Remi, as he has quite a few complications. After being home for 2 months, following 3 weeks spent in the special care unit after being born premmie, we are now back in hospital due to issues related to his oxygen levels, fluid on his lungs and enlarged heart and liver (indicating heart failure).

Due to this my partner has had to use all leave he had accumulated (and saved for Remi’s heart surgery) and we are currently left with no income over the time we will be in Melbourne for our sons heart surgery.

Any funds we raise will go towards our time in Melbourne, accomodation, food and paying day to day living expenses (bills etc) that still need to be paid while we are away.

We aren’t the type of people to ask for help, but this is the hardest time of our lives and the added stress of lack of income means we can’t focus all of our attention on our Remi.
