Support Renee and Amarnie's Journey to Healing

Hi, my name is Julie Fox, and I am the proud owner of Pynk Health, a psychology practice dedicated to supporting women's mental health. Today, I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for support for one of our most beloved team members, Renee Steepe, and her precious 15-month-old daughter, Amarnie Grace.

Renee has been an invaluable part of Pynk Health for the past three years, serving as our exceptional practice manager. She has touched the lives of countless clients, connecting them to the resources and support they need to thrive. Her compassion and dedication are unmatched, and she has been a lifeline for so many.

Renee is also a devoted mother to Amarnie Grace, a bright and spirited little girl who brings joy and laughter to everyone she meets. Amarnie loves animals and is full of spunk and fun. However, on June 26th, a tragic accident occurred. Amarnie pulled a cup of hot tea down the front of her chin and chest, resulting in severe burns. She was airlifted from their remote hometown in South West Queensland to Brisbane, where she has undergone several surgeries.

Amarnie's journey to recovery is ongoing. She requires weekly surgeries and eventually, skin grafts. Each week, Renee, Amarnie, and Amarnie's grandmother make the arduous journey to Brisbane, over 800 kilometers round trip, to receive the necessary medical care at the Children's Hospital. This grueling trip, sometimes made twice a week, is essential for Amarnie's healing, but it comes at a significant financial and emotional cost.

Unfortunately, Renee and her family do not have any other financial or familial support. The expenses for travel, petrol, and overnight stays in Brisbane are substantial and have become a heavy burden for Renee and her family. The emotional toll of this ordeal is immense, and the road to recovery is slow and challenging.

We are reaching out to you, our community, for help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference in supporting Renee and Amarnie during this difficult time.
