Support Renee Glasscoe's Family After Tragic Loss

Hello, my name is Alyssa. I am writing this on behalf of one of my best friends Renee Glasscoe. As many of you know waking up on Sunday, November 3 changed their lives forever. On Saturday 11/2 her husband Brandon Glasscoe explained that she would be driving herself to work today because he was so excited to ride with his niece to go pick up her mother (his sister) who was here to visit from the airport. She expressed her excitement for them to hang out and said good bye and she loved him. When she got out of work that night she went home with their kids as they fell asleep waiting for him to come back home. Then next morning waking up realizing he never came set off an alarm in her head. anyone who knew him knows that not like him at all to come call, answer or Come home. She started to do what any person, mother, wife, etc would do….went looking for answers. Unfortunately it was not the answer we wanted, Brandon, her husband along with his sister and niece were killed in the car accident on I-96 in Webberville. While on the way back from the airport they came to a complete stop on the bridge due to lane closure. A semi for whatever reason didn’t break and time and trampled over them and several other cars which resulted in an explosion that caused 17 injuries and 4 deaths 3 of them being her family.

If you ask anyone about Brandon Glasscoe we would all say the same thing!

A one in a million human, an outstanding father, son, brother, uncle, coach, and Amazing husband!!! He had a soul like no other, one of the most positive, uplifting man you could ever meet! He was a supporter and giver, if you need help he was there for you, didn’t matter if it was a help with a task, a ride, a place to stay, a babysitter, a meal, a person to talk to and listen, the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. HE WAS THERE AND IF HE DIDNT HAVE A WAY HE WOULD FINE ONE!

He impacted so many peoples lives in the most positive way. I am making this

On Sunday when I went to visit them their 8 year old son came and gave me a hug. I started crying just feeling so devastated and then he said “it’s okay we’re going to get through this, my dad was a great person. I’m just glad I got to see one more football game with him!” I just thought yes we will get through this, and he was, is and will always be a GREAT person!
