Support Reshma Fight Cancer

Growing up we are fortunate to have very dedicated Gurus (teachers) whose only intention is to give their best to the students. One such fabulous teacher that every class unanimously agrees is David Raj Sir. He has inspired many students to do their best and always available to students irrespective of socio economic conditions. He studied and taught across the states of Andhra, Tamilnadu and Kerala in India. Even with years passing, Sir supported and been in touch with students encouraging their achievements and providing needed blessings.

 He has only one daughter Reshma, who wants to follow in her fathers foot footsteps, and take the noble profession of teaching. In recent times, sadly found out that her body is attacked with malignant cancer. She is going through unforgiving and unprecedented cancer at a very young age. Cancer has been relentless and had been going through several rounds of Chemo, however that was not sufficient. It needed a donor to provide much needed treatment. The search for a donor has been tedious and the wait period has been long. After being on the waitlist, luckily got a donor. But the transplant cost a huge amount along with facility and physician support cost.

 Reshma is going through advanced stage cancer and getting treated with transplant in India. Chemo has been rough with several rounds. Immunity at lowest and surviving with several other alignments as well. She is battling each day with enormous courage and facing side effects with a brave and smiley face with her parents by her side and living in a Chennai city hospital miles away from her hometown Nagercoil.

 A lot of expense went into finding the right treatment and still many ongoing expenses. The meager teacher wages and savings are all exhausted alongside family savings and relatives aid. They are fighting best to support their only kid in every possible way. Away from home town, single income and now away 6 months straight with no income and supporting their kid at the hospital at the same time. They are running short of resources and in dire need of help.
