Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
My name is Dalia , I'm a wife and a mother for three little adorable kids . I am reaching out to you in a time of profound urgency and desperation. I am seeking your assistance to raise funds to reunion my family and rebuild our life with this GoFundMe page. We aim to raise this amount with your help and generosity , The funds will be used for reunions and rebuild our home , and other basic expenses related to, living expenses, travel and education for my children. Since we have had no income for the past 7 months , and we lost everything we own our home , our saving , our family business ,and our car .
Meet my beloved ones:
My husband Mohannad Alsourani with 41 years old , He was working as a teacher in the American International School in Gaza. My kids are my eldest son, Ziad, was excelling in Grade 6, and Dana was making her mark in Grade 4, both are attending the same school where their father taught. And my little adorable one is Leen with two years old. And my mother in law Suzan with 65 years old .
Life was good, with a clear path towards a bright future for my family. We lived a stable, beautiful and quiet life in Gaza.
our hope and most important ambition to us was, to raise our children and provide them with advanced education in the best schools, like the rest of the children in the world. And to provide them with a complete, healthy environment. Despite some of the difficult circumstances that we faced in Gaza, we were happy in our lives.
Our life before 7th October :
Since October 7th, our lives turned to horror, suffering, tragedy, and destruction . We have experienced four evacuations. Our home neighborhood in Gaza has been destroyed and our house burned completely turned in to ashes , and our family business is gone .Initially evacuating to various shelters in both the middle and South, We faced further challenges when Israel claimed the South as a safe zone but later they distributed leaflets to start targeting rafah where we were staying.
With no other options left, we made the heartbreaking decision to leave Gaza behind and seek refuge in Egypt with my mother-in-law. It was a leap of faith into the unknown, leaving behind everything we knew in the hopes of a better tomorrow. Its end up with me and my kids in Qatar, while my husband Mohanad and his mother sought shelter in Egypt.
Our life after 7th October :
To this day, I couldn’t forget my feeling the night we evacuated our house. I was unable to calm down my children and reassure them because I was terrified as well. My eldest son was shaking in fear and terror, and my daughter Dana had a fever with fear. With the turmoil that befell me at the time, I was unable to prepare a bag of clothes and supplies for us especially for my little girl Leen, and we left our house in fear, leaving behind everything we owned, fleeing with only our souls and our loved ones, going to unknown faith .
I’m very grateful for your genericity. Any amount you’re willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated, and if you aren’t able to contribute money at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us as well.
