Support Rex's Place Employees

Can you help take care of the folks who care for your dogs?

Because of the COVID-19 emergency, we have had to shut down the day care at Rex's Place until we can be sure that everyone is healthy. That means that not only do we have no income for rent, utilities and everything else, but I won't be able to make payroll. We have 17 staff members. Most have been with us over 3 years, and some have been with us since we opened 10 years ago. They are committed, passionate canine caretakers, and I so want to take care of them, but with the day care shut down, I just can't.

Any donations will first go to paying our staff while we are closed. Beyond that, we will do everything we can to make sure that Rex's Place weathers the crisis. We are still operating our Boarding operations for those clients who cannot care for their dogs, but it is day care that really pays the bills.

To everyone who has reached out wanting to help: Thank You. I know you are all going through terrible times as well, and the fact that people have approached me to help us is overwhelming. Your kindness and support have moved me to tears. I thank everyone for every bit of support you can offer to help me get my team through this crisis, and we hope to be open and busy caring for your pups for a long time to come.
