Support Richard Bowen's Final Journey

Richard "Spider" Bowen passed October 4th, 2024. After over a quarter century in prison ( he and I were cellies for a few years) God answered our prayers to let him close his book of life a free man. 11-30-23 he was released from State prison, but the fight wasn't over yet. He had stage 4 bladder cancer that was moving into his pelvic bone. Even with his treatment we knew it was getting worse and he need full time care. He went to yuba city hospice in July. Knowing what was next we thought we had it all set up to be taken care of. He had donated himself to science and was to be cremated and sent home to us. (Yes we definitely had become his family long ago for none of his were alive anymore) Something disqualified him from this and we had no idea untill the morning after he passed.

As it stands now he is at Holy Cross funeral home and requires a $1200 cremation fee. All I'm trying to do is make sure he is laid to rest like he and I talked about. Thank you for any help you are able to do. I have so much more to say about this situation but I'm sure most don't want to read that long.
