Support Richard Horne's Funeral Costs

Hello, my name is LeeAnn Bivins.

I am trying to help my sister-in-law, Michelle Horne, raise money to bury my brother, Richard Horne. He passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She has spoken to the funeral home (Lady's Funeral Home, 268 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083) and the service will be a little over $6,000, but they need $3,000 upfront. If anyone knew my brother, you know he was someone you could count on. All you had to do was pick up the phone and call. He would give anyone the shirt off his back; he was kind, loving, and had the biggest heart. He served his community for over 20 years with the Mount Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department until last year when he had to retire after having his leg amputated due to diabetes. My brother deserves a proper burial. I'm not even asking for you to donate the money here. You can donate straight to the funeral home; the information is listed above.
