Ricardo "Rich" Pena (Richard), was a person everyone loved from the moment they met him. Whether you were a stranger, a friend, or family, you couldn't help but be drawn to him. He had this incredible heart and a smile that you could never forget.

What made Richard stand out the most was his honesty and loyalty. He was always there when you needed him, ready to help without a second thought. His selflessness was something rare, always putting others before himself.

He made a difference in so many lives, just by being his genuine, kind-hearted self. Rich's love and generosity left a mark on all of us, and his memory will always be a part of our family. We're heartbroken by his loss, and the pain of missing him is a testament to the love we all have for him.

Why do we need to raise 7-10K? We want to have a service that Provide Richard's mother and daughter a chance to see him and say their final good bye. This was a suden lost, sadly the family had no plans, and at this time the family is also going through significant financial hardship.

Just the though of not being able to give him a burial has taken a huge emotional toll on his mother, so this is a last effort to get her to let go easier, she is devastated as it is but not being able to burry him will cause additional burden to her mentally, emotionally and health wise, Richards's mother had being suffering severe depression prior to this tragic event as many of you might know, post her car accident and more recently the passing of Loribel's mom.

The 7-10 K is more or less an estimated cost we have painfully and I mean painfully, go through so far with many providers in the area to get a wake preparations, open casket funeral service, transportation from morgue to service and from service to cemetery, casket cost and burial plot this last item being the bulk of the budget.

The funds raised though this collective effort , will be receive and administer directly by Mirtha Pena (Richard's sister). She will ensure every single penny goes to cover the cost of this final expense.

Please help us give Richard's mother some solace while also make possible to give him the proper burial that he deserves.

Our beloved Richard passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 40. He was born in the Dominican Republic, and most recently resided in Providence, RI.

Richard's greatest joy in life was spreading positivity and happiness to those around him. He cherished his daughter, Loribel, whom he considered his little princess, and his son, Ricky whom he was deeply proud of. Richard's selflessness and deep love for his family were the hallmark of his character.

Born to Eladia and Jesus, Richard was deeply loved and adored by his parents. He shared a special bond with his siblings, Mirtha and Carlos, who found solace in his caring presence.

Richard will be remembered for his infectious smile and his ability to brighten any room he entered. His positive and loving nature was a ray of sunshine in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

As we mourn the loss of Richard "Rich" Pena, let us remember the impact he had on our lives and the legacy of love and kindness he leaves behind. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
