Support Richard's Fight for Survival

As most of you are aware, my baby brother, Richard was in a motorcycle accident on Monday, September 16th while in Topeka. He was going south on Wanamaker with the right of way when a car pulled east in front of him, causing Richard to hit him. The driver then fled the scene of the accident, leaving Richard for dead. Richard was flown from his bike, over the car and is suffering serious brain trauma. For the past 6 days, I have watched my brother fight for his life. He is in critical condition, on life support and has a very long road ahead of him. If Richard wakes up from this accident, he is going to require extensive rehab to help get him back to as close to "normal" as his brain will allow. All of this is already starting to take its toll on my family, especially my parents. We are so appreciative of all of the support we have received these past 6 days from friends and family, but we still have so many unknowns to come. Situations like these feel very humbling as we put our pride aside and admit that we need help to get Richard to the best place he can be. My promise is that anything that is left will be donated to a charity near to Richard in his name.

Richard is only 21 and has a long life ahead of him to create. Please continue to pray for Richard and our family.
