Support Richard's Recovery Journey

Hello! My name is Joseph Houff—I’m Richard Houff’s brother. For folks that do not know—Richard has been in the hospital since February 15th—and prior to that has unfortunately been too sick to work for a couple of weeks. Richard is currently at Maple Grove Hospital recovering from a currently undiagnosed issue that resulted in him being hospitalized, running dangerously high temps, and a tunneling wound on his calf which resulted in him having difficulties walking.

Richard has now had two surgeries on his leg to treat a wound that was terribly infected with “skin-eating bacteria,” and the current plan is for him to continue to be hospitalized until they can manage the wound, infection, and other issues uncovered during his stay.

Unfortunately for Richard, not only will this be a very costly hospital stay, but he is now even longer without money coming in from his work. Anything anyone is willing to give will help Richard pay his medical bills and keep his head above water during this trying time.
