Support Richie Phongsavath After Uber Accident

Hi. My name is Richie Phongsavath. I was recently in a car accident while doing Uber at 2:30-2:45 am. A huge deer ran into the front end of my car and ruined my grille, fender, radiator, and hood. I didn’t even see the deer until he hit me. The deer succumbed to his injuries and died. He landed on the sidewalk.

I’m out of a job. My personal insurance won’t cover me because I was on the Uber platform, nor will Uber’s third-party comprehensive collision insurance cover me. I’m struggling very badly right now. I was working from 3:30 pm-2:30 am, which is when the accident occurred, and trying to pay off my rent which was due on the 1st. My landlord has been patient with me and asked me to pay him by the 15th. I still don’t have enough for rent.

I had to call AAA and get them to tow my car (twice) from near the scene of the accident and the shop where it was supposed to get worked on. I just need money to help me get through the next couple of weeks so I can figure out what my next move is. I have to pay a $2500 deductible, of which I don’t have. I’m very poor right now and depressed. I would appreciate any financial support you can give me. Thank you.
