Support Ricky Hunter's Fight for Recovery

Im writing this on behalf of the Hunter Family. Jessica Hunter and her family have been close family friend for so many years and their Family has been through so much in the last few years. Ricky Hunter was diagnosed with Cancer in January 2024. After several different treatments he was later told there is nothing more they can do. He was told the cancer had spread even with two types of chemo and was now stage 4. Ricky continued to work even with his poor prognosis. On January 10, 2025 at 130am Ricky was running a tow truck and recovering a vehicle from the ditch on the interstate near Dyer, Arkansas. A vehicle was driving too fast for conditions and veered off the roadway and struck Rickys from behind. The vehicle only came to a stop after hitting the back of Rickys company’s tow truck. The impact of their vehicle had thrown Ricky several feet down the interstate. Luckily Ricky had a close family member and several other assist him as he laid in the snow almost an hour before an ambulance could get to him. The driver who was an out of state diver showed no empathy and they did not have any insurance. Lucky to still be with us today Ricky suffered several injuries. A shattered right tibia and fibula, a shattered right shoulder, 4 broken ribs, a few fracture including 2 on his lumbar spine. Several lacerations including his face, back, and a severe cut to his index finger. Ricky had an over 6 hour surgery to repair his shoulder with a metal plate and his leg with a metal rod. Ricky was then moved to a Medical rehab facility to gain the strength he needs to be able to safely transition to home. Unfortunately the Cancer will slow down or even stop some healing to his bones. Ricky is a hard working father, and Ricky and his family would literally give the shirt off their backs to help someone. He is unable to work at this time and his family needs all the help and prayers they can get!
