Support Rico Lyons' Memorial Service

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we have to share the unexpected passing of my brother Rico Lyons. The cause of death is still being investigated.
Rico lived a very challenging life, where he spent most of his youth in behavioral centers , juvenile detention and later transferred to the adult prison. The only world he ever known was behind bars, locked away in a jail facility, where he spent 97% of his life. Rico was never given a chance to live a normal life. Rico life could have been differently had he was giving the help he needed. Rico did what he had to do to survive. Many people knew Rico suffered from multiple mental health issues daily. That cause him to feel like nobody cared for him, but our family fought for him as much as we could!
I prayed Rico was able to get the help he needed. I prayed that Rico received closure. I prayed that he wouldn’t ever try to commit suicide again. I prayed that Rico knew that he was loved and cared for by his family. I prayed that Rico knew that God still loved him no matter what. I prayed that Rico knew daily that he was enough and could still live a happy life.
Rico never bothered anyone. He was sweet and he never met a stranger. Rico was always judged by his appearance and assumed as troubled. Rico loved to dance, sing and rap. Rico was the life of the party!
Unfortunately, there was a problem with obtaining his insurance policy.
We want to give Rico the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Rico’s funeral. We need to raise 8,000 in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you in advance for your loving kindness.
